As the new year unfolds, I'm back at work making the most of my yearly calendar. Writing is my passion. While I have many hobbies: knitting, quilting, gardening, and celebrate the awesomeness that is Black Sails and Sleepyhollow, my greatest love continues to be, well... love.
2015 ushers in the end of my Nelson's Tea Series, me hearties. The very idea of saying goodbye to my characters fills me with great sadness. I adore each and every one: Simon, Gillian, Percy, Constance, Henry, Adele, Garrick and Mercy! But while switching publishers and relaunching two of the books, the series has extended longer than I'd originally intended. The good news is I've got some great new projects in the works that I can't wait to get started on. So no tears. The men of Nelson's Tea are like fine wine. And I have a feeling the Seatons will get more sailin' time!
Up next in the Nelson's Tea Series: MY LADY ROGUE, A Nelson's Tea Novella #2 releases March 17th, 2015. MLR #2 is Simon and Gillian's continuing love story. What was impossible in MY LORD ROGUE, A Nelson's Tea Novella #1 becomes probable and more in part two. Things really heat up for these two characters just as disaster strikes. Will Nelson's Tea prevail? I can't wait for you to read this riveting novella! And if you know anything about 1805, you know I cried oodles of tears writing this book.
The final book in the series features Lord Garrick Seaton, aka Captain Blade's continuing adventures in THE ROGUE'S SURRENDER. This is the book my faithful readers have been patiently waiting for. Unfortunately, while relaunching several books last year, I had to put it on hold. But Garrick's time has come, me hearties! And I'm having so much fun writing Garrick and Mercy's story. What could be even better? All the characters from the Nelson's Tea Series are in this one! Shenanigans prevail. Hoorah!!!
I wish you a very successful year! Like you, my handy calendar is full of my hopes and dreams, which include bringing lots of romantic goodness to you! As you fill your calendar with family events and log your goals for 2015, keep Admiral Nelson's words close to your heart. I do!
“Time is everything; five minutes make the difference between victory and defeat.”
Vice-Admiral Lord Viscount Horatio Nelson
Huzzah and Hoorah!
